The broker mafia problem
Local brokers routinely charge absurd brokerage — often a full month's rent — just for showing you an apartment. Worse, they demand 50% brokerage again on every renewal, year after year, for doing essentially nothing. VestaDirect cuts them out entirely: owners list directly, renters browse freely, and we charge only a small one-time service fee.
Strict Aadhaar-based verification
Non-authenticated listings and shady brokers have scammed people with fake documents, phantom properties, and broken promises. That's why every host on VestaDirect must pass Aadhaar-based identity verification before their listing goes live. No anonymous actors, no fake identities — just real, accountable owners.
Zero Aadhaar data stored
Privacy is non-negotiable. We do not store any Aadhaar-related information — no number, no XML, no biometrics. The Aadhaar XML file is used solely to trigger verification and is discarded immediately after. We only retain the verification status (verified or not). Your identity documents never sit on our servers.
Host privacy by default
Your phone number and personal details stay completely hidden from browsers and casual enquiries. Contact information is shared only after a renter formally commits to your listing — no spam calls, no tyre-kickers, no brokers harvesting your number.
